Today I’d like to share with you a really special article.

Special because it’s a group article, and because it’s about a presentation we had in our school: ISCOM.

We had to make a group and do a presentation about one social media and his specificity. One of this presentation definitely catch our attention, it was the one about LINKEDIN.

So, we thought you may be interest on learning more about this social network that only a few of you use currently.

To resume this presentation, LinkedIn is one of the social media sites that has become extremely popular over the years.

Three steep who can make you understand the LINKEDIN growth:

->Founded in 2003 by 4 man, it had a slower start, most of all because of the lack of publicity.

->LinkedIn launched its Job Search app in 2014 to go further in helping people recruitment, and it specialized on it.

-> Now, this is a professional social media platform that provides connections to professionals.

Why should you take the time to create an account?

Let me guess, at this point of my article you’re just thinking about how interesting Linkedin is, but when you’ll leave this page you forget forever this idea who had started to emerge in your brain, and which is:

“If I create my account”

So, your dear friend (I named: myself) is not going to let you do this mistake.

There are plenty raisons but the most important is, it help you on your professional life, more specifically if you’re searching for a new job:

With LINKEDIN job you have the possibility to search or to deposit a job offer on the LINKEDIN Job application or directly or on the website by clicking on the « employment » tab. This feature allows you to do targeted searches based on your area of activity and geographic area. If you are in search this feature will allow you to be able to research precisely what you want. You can define whether you are looking for an internship, a permanent contract, a fixed-term contract or a beginner level position and it will search through its database for all offers that meet your criteria. Linkedin Job also offers a system of automatic proposal of job offer and internship according to the profile linkedin.

Thanks to the « Follow » section of the application will allow you to view your search history with the latest ads viewed, the latest ads registered as well as all of your applications.
